I Don't Have A Mason but I Have A Leafcutter
My Mason Bee block has went unused this year even though I see them cruising around my flowers all the time. I was suprised to find this Leafcutter Bee cocoon in one of the holes though.
Fortunately -- our Battleship Missouri of a Carpenter Bee returned this year and has been pollinating our tomato flowers non-stop. Unfortunately -- she (or is it a he?) doesn't like the wood block.
I do have three holes caked over with mud. Does this mean something?
